Pyramid Lake Museum

The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe Museum and Visitors Center at 709 State Street in Nixon, Nevada shares the history and living culture of the Pyramid Lake Paiute people. Admission is free, and the center also sells the recreational and camping permits visitors need to enjoy Pyramid Lake.

The museum hosts regular cultural programming. In early 2026, Native Song Night evenings (beginning January 29) invited the community to share traditional songs and dances, with drummers welcome and everyone invited to attend. On March 25, 2026, Northern Paiute (Toi Ticutta) artist Melissa Melero-Moose introduced and signed her book Nevada Flowering Plants.

Events on this page are shared from the Nevada's Indian Territory calendar (nevadasindianterritory.com).
