The Carson City Multi-purpose Athletic Center (MAC), shared with the Boys & Girls Club at 1860 Russell Way, hosts the Nevada Day Powwow each year during Nevada Day weekend in October, when the state capital celebrates its statehood holiday.

This public event showcases Native American and First Nations dancing and singing, with a wide variety of craft and food vendors on site. Recent editions have added a hand game tournament, horseshoe tournament, youth 3-on-3 basketball, and a cornhole tournament to the weekend.

The next Nevada Day Powwow is scheduled for October 31, 2026.
