The Nevada Day Powwow is held in Carson City during Nevada Day weekend each October, coinciding with the state's biggest annual celebration. The public event showcases Native American and First Nations dancing and singing along with a wide variety of craft and food vendors, and in recent years has been held at Carson City's Multi-Purpose Athletic Center (MAC).

After a pause in 2025, organizers have announced the powwow's return for Nevada Day weekend 2026 at the MAC Center.
